Guidelines to a Healthy Life

When the body is well it is said to be healthy. It is the level where the body functions at its best. It means that the body is physically and mentally well with no illness. It is the physical, mental and so spiritual capability to make healthy choices for ourselves . when we are living healthy we are able to do many things and we are happy in general. This document will give tips for  health fitness.

The food that we eat constitute majorly our healthy journey. We are told that the number one medicine is the food we eat. For us to be healthy there is need to cook healthy food. Healthy food basically is food that has important nutrients that our bodies need to survive. Carbohydrates,proteins,vitamins and healthy fats is what constitute healthy food. Carbohydrates should be the non processed ones as well as proteins should be the good protein. Since cooked food rarely has all the nutrients the body need we should makeup by taking supplements. Vitamins, protein shakes and minerals are some of the supplements that we should take.

To stay healthy we should exercise. The body must be engaged in exercise to ensure that the cells remain healthy. We can talk long walks or even enroll in a gym to do workouts. Engaging in cardio is good for the heart and maintaining a healthy weight. Weight lifting is good for muscle building. We can also stay fit by jogging. By working out we are able to keep a healthy weight as we stay healthy.

Our bodies are made of water and therefore staying hydrated is good for our healthy. The recommended water intake per person in a day is 8 glasses. Water works well with our body in terms of detoxing when we urinates as well as through sweat. Water helps our digestive system and prevents constipation. Fresh juices, green tea are some of the fluids that we can take on top of drink water.

Maintaining a healthy mental health. This is done by reducing the levels of stress in ones life. Stress is a very unhealthy emotional disease that is caused by overthinking in many cases about problems. It distorts your emotions and feelings which can be dangerous to your general well being. Stress may lead to depression if not checked. Depression is a mental disease that can be fatal if not treated.

Maintaining a healthy body weight. So as to maintain good health one must have healthy weight. This is usually checked through the BMI that should be on normal levels depending on the persons weight,height and age. Excess weight leads to diseases such as cancer, diabetes and heart problems.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
